ADC Leaders Rally for Political Renaissance in Kogi East

Key political figures of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) gathered in Anyigba on Saturday to chart a new course for Kogi East’s political landscape, emphasizing transparency and inclusive governance.

The high-profile stakeholders’ meeting brought together prominent leaders including QS Aminu, Engr. Musa Wada, Senator Tunde Ogbeya, and former Kogi State Deputy Governor Elder Simon Achuba. Representatives from all nine local government areas of Kogi East, including youth advocates, women leaders, and technocrats, were also present.

During the strategic gathering, QS Aminu highlighted the critical importance of unity and political consciousness in Kogi East’s development trajectory. He stressed that inclusive governance would serve as the foundation for sustainable progress in the region.

“Our people have suffered from neglect for too long. It is time to build a system that works for everyone,” declared Engr. Musa Wada, advocating for a focus on issue-based politics and economic development initiatives.

Senator Tunde Ogbeya praised the ADC’s leadership approach, particularly its emphasis on integrity and grassroots engagement. He made a specific appeal to young people, encouraging their active participation in the region’s political processes.

Elder Simon Achuba portrayed the ADC as a beacon of hope for Kogi East, calling for party solidarity and resistance against divisive forces. “We must show the people that politics can be about service, not self,” he emphasized during his address.

The meeting included detailed discussions on political strategy development, youth empowerment, and community advancement programs. Attendees passed several resolutions aimed at reinforcing local party structures, enhancing women’s political participation, and building stronger alliances among opposition leaders in the zone.

Party leadership expressed confidence in ADC’s growing influence across the senatorial district, positioning the party as a catalyst for equitable governance in Kogi State. This gathering marks a significant step in the party’s efforts to establish itself as a viable alternative in future electoral contests.
