Access Bank Launches Game-Changing Womenpreneur Program with N17.5M Grant Pool
In a bold move to revolutionize female entrepreneurship across Africa, Access Bank has kicked off its highly anticipated Womenpreneur Pitch-a-Ton 2025 program, offering ambitious businesswomen a chance to transform their ventures through comprehensive support and substantial funding opportunities.
The program, which opens its doors from September 19 to October 10, 2025, represents a beacon of hope for women entrepreneurs looking to scale their businesses to new heights. Speaking at a vibrant press conference in Lagos, Nene Kunle-Ogunlusi, Group Head of Women Banking, highlighted the initiative’s impressive track record since its 2019 inception, having empowered hundreds of women through specialized business training and mentorship.
“This year’s edition is supercharged with opportunities,” Kunle-Ogunlusi enthusiastically shared. The program’s crown jewel is an intensive Mini-MBA program, developed in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), designed to equip participants with cutting-edge business acumen. What’s more exciting is the substantial N17.5 million grant pool awaiting outstanding participants, with additional support benefits for all finalists.
Adding to the program’s impressive credentials, Oyeyipo Ifeoluwa, the Project Manager, revealed that Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton has already invested in the dreams of 878 women entrepreneurs, distributing grants totaling $175,000 since 2019. “This isn’t just another competition,” Ifeoluwa emphasized. “It’s a transformative journey for Africa’s women-led businesses.”
Eligible participants must be female entrepreneurs with registered businesses operating for over a year and holding at least 50% ownership stake. The program promises not just financial support but a complete ecosystem of business development resources, networking opportunities, and mentorship from industry leaders.
For women entrepreneurs ready to take their businesses to the next level, this program represents an unmissable opportunity to join a growing community of successful African businesswomen. Applications are now open through the official Access Bank website.
