BBNaija Drama: Delta State Official Threatens Lawsuit Over Season 10 Finale Results
In a dramatic turn of events following the Big Brother Naija Season 10 finale, a Delta State government official has thrown down the gauntlet, accusing the show’s organizers of manipulation and promising legal action over the results that saw Imisi emerge victorious over Delta State’s beloved contestant, Dede.
Ossai Ovie Success, special assistant to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, took to Facebook with explosive allegations that the show’s organizers deliberately prevented Dede from clinching the crown simply because last year’s winner, Kellyrae, also hailed from Delta State. The controversy erupted shortly after the October 5, 2025 finale that crowned Imisi as the winner, with Dede settling for runner-up position.
“Dede was robbed by the BBNaija organizers because Delta boy Kellyrae won last year’s season, and they didn’t want another Delta contestant to win this year,” Ossai declared in his impassioned social media post. He emphasized that Dede’s potential victory wasn’t about state loyalty but rather her impressive performance throughout the show, stating she “made everyone proud throughout the show.”
The government official didn’t mince words about his next steps, boldly announcing his intention to pursue legal action. “I will be suing Big Brother Naija on behalf of Dede because the voting was rigged. I am disappointed,” he stated firmly.
However, it’s not all doom and gloom for Ossai, who mentioned finding temporary solace in attending the upcoming Bole Feast in Asaba on October 26. The event, featuring Delta Chef Nnagbogu Ifeyinwa of Reetaz Kitchen attempting to cook the longest bole, will precede his plans to host Dede in Asaba.
